You heard right we're hosting a complimentary screening of Disney's Moana on the Beach. Yep, with the help and support of our Manhattan Beach Parks and Rec. Dept. and the generosity of the AVP we're going to be able to complete our summer movie series on the sand again this year. We'll be on center court just south of the Manhattan Beach Pier. This is all happening on August 18th and the festivities will kick off at 6pm. Just like always we'll have Pizza, Popcorn and in the spirit of Moana we're adding Shave Ice... Nikau Kai and The City of Manhattan Beach have teamed up again this year to bring you a complimentary screening of Shark Tale by Dreamwork's Animation. This is the first installment of the Summer Surf Movie Series which started in 2014. As this series continues to grow we've moved the venue to the courtyard behind the newly redesigned Manhattan Beach Public Library, next to city hall. This location is simply perfect for enjoying an evening with your neighbors on the grassy lawn enjoying a slice of pizza, a glass of lemonade and of course, a big 'ole bag of popcorn.
