You heard right we're hosting a complimentary screening of Disney's Moana on the Beach. Yep, with the help and support of our Manhattan Beach Parks and Rec. Dept. and the generosity of the AVP we're going to be able to complete our summer movie series on the sand again this year. We'll be on center court just south of the Manhattan Beach Pier. This is all happening on August 18th and the festivities will kick off at 6pm. Just like always we'll have Pizza, Popcorn and in the spirit of Moana we're adding Shave Ice... Oh ya, this is going to be fun. Make sure to bring your beach chairs, blankets and the whole family... Can't wait to see you their.
It's that time of year again and we're back with another great selection of movies for summer at the beach. We're kicking off with Disney's "Finding Dory" the smash follow up to "Finding Nemo". So get your beach chairs and blankets ready because it's coming up Friday June 16th. Once again we've been fortunate enough to team up with the good folks from Manhattan Beach Library and they're sharing their wonderful courtyard behind the library. The festivities will begin at 6pm as we all start finding the perfect patch of grease to claim for the next few hours. There will be pizza provided by our good friends at Manhattan Pizzeria and popcorn, candy, lemonade and more will all be available for purchase...
Once Again Nikau Kai and The City of Manhattan Beach have teamed to bring you another complimentary Movie... This time It's "The Incredibles" by Disney / Pixar. To add to the fun we're also hosting a Super Hero Costume Contest, oh this should be fun. We'll have a both an "individual" and "family" catagory. So grab your beach chairs and your magic lasso or cape... and come join us in the courtyard behind the newly redesigned Manhattan Beach Public Library, next to City Hall. This is the first installment of the Summer Surf Movie Series which started in 2014. As this series continues to grow we've moved the venue to the courtyard behind the newly redesigned Manhattan Beach Public Library, next to city hall. This location is simply perfect for enjoying an evening with your neighbors on the grassy lawn enjoying a slice of pizza, a glass of lemonade and of course, a big 'ole bag of popcorn.
